Yes please! So off I went to the event, really good to meet fellow bloggers and Natasha Corrett whos new book ‘Honestly Healthy in a hurry‘ just came out. She was lovely, came across down to earth and genuine.

There were about 24 of us and we made a smoothie, a pasta dish, and a gooey brownie. All made with dairy free Dream rice milk. I was on brownie duty, coincidental, I think not… It was hard not to eat the delicious mixture before it went into the oven! (I love vegan baking, eating the batter guilt free!) We mixed together soaked dates, agave, Dream rice milk, soaked chia seeds, coconut oil and cashew butter. After it was blended we added the dry ingredients: salt, baking powder, coconut flour, and cacao powder, it soon became so gooey that it was almost too hard to resist… Quickly folding in chopped walnuts before baking it in the oven for 20 minutes. First up we had the deliciously creamy pasta with courgette and carrot. I had never used cumin in a pasta dish before but it is definitely something I’ll do again!
