Two years ago I started juicing. First for my own personal health, then for others. There’s something about discovering new flavours and being connected to what you drink, instead of consuming mindlessly… Here are some of my favourite recipes and a quick FAQ.
FAQ
- What kind of juicer do you use?
I use a Hurom juicer, a slow juicer that is a worthy of the investment. - What is your favourite juice?
My favourite juice is definitely carrot, sweet potato and ginger. - How do you store your juice and for how long?
When I first started off I used plastic cups, now I use glass mason jars that can be stored airtight in the fridge. So I can keep them fresh for 3 days.

- 1 Kilo carrots
- 1/2 Kilo sweet potato
- Big knob of ginger, depending how spicy you like your juice
Instructions
Wash both carrots and sweet potato, cut into chunks, leave the skin on as that’s where most of the vitamins are.
Repeat with the ginger, leave the skin on.
Make sure the chunks are about the size of your thumb and not bigger as that will clog up the juicer…
Put in all the produce bit by bit, remember it’s a slow juicer so take your time!
